This event is open to the public. Both Covenant Village residents and non-residents are welcome to attend.
It is for those who have had or are considering DBS surgery, along with their families. This group is sponsored by St. Mary’s Hauenstein Parkinson’s Clinic.

This Support Group is intended for PD patient and their caregivers. It is facilitated by Fitness Coordinator Erin Elenbaas. These interactive sessions include helpful informational presentations by experts and practical insights shared by the attendees.
Free information, inspiration, and support for everyone including caregivers, family, and friends. Light refreshments will be served.

A support and education group for people with Parkinson’s Disease, family members, and friends. Beverages and light snack provided.
Group will meet in Rooms 7/9, directly behind Mercy Health St. Mary’s Campus.
Parking is recommended in the free parking garage behind the Wege Center. Parking entrance is on Lafayette.
This support group is affiliated with the Michigan Parkinson Foundation. The support group is open to both the Caregiver and the person with PD.
Generation Care Health Center sponsors this Support Group for the Spring Lake and Muskegon areas. We hope you can attend! It is not necessary to RSVP, but it is recommended. Come and learn all about our PD programs involving education, exercise, special events, and some fun, too!
Following the Support Group Discussion, a short session of exercise is held (optional of course).

Each meeting is for lunch, sharing, and caring. ‘Call ahead’ reservations are recommended to let Support Leaders plan attendance size. Lunch is self-pay (ie., participant paid).
The meetings usually last around 60-90 minutes.
Each meeting will cover various topics beneficial to all people impacted by Parkinson’s Disease, directly or indirectly. If there is a particular subject or issue you would like to have discussed, please feel free to reach out to Allison Honderd to have the topic added to an upcoming meeting.
