Detailed Information
Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is diagnosed in over 90,000 Americans over the age of 45 each year. It is becoming even more common each year. The Montcalm Area Parkinsons’s Support Group is made up of both individuals with PD and their caregivers. The Group meets on a regular basis and welcomes everyone with open arms to help deal with this prevalent and progressive condition.
- Multiple studies have shown that patients with PD and their caregivers routinely find great value in meeting with others experiencing the many symptoms and daily trials of this complicated and prevalent condition.
- The Montcalm Area Parkinsons’s Support Group offers an opportunity for those dealing with PD, either as the individual with PD or the caregiver.
- We support the PD needs of individuals living in the Montcalm, Ionia, and Northern Kent county area by helping them understand and deal with the daily challenges brought on by PD.
Meetings are held at the First Methodist Church, 204 West Cass Street, Greenville, MI 48838.
