This 2024 edition brochure was created to provide vital information for people who live with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and the families who support them. PD patients often have a complicated medical regimen and are subject to multi-system conditions that impact their quality of life. It is important to understand the motor and non-motor issues of PD and the available resources.

• The first section is an overview of PD, current treatment options, and potential systemic problems. For simplification, we have used “trade” names for medications instead of generic names.
• The second section outlines other key considerations. Hopefully, this brief brochure will be useful to you.

This booklet is provided as a FREE RESOURCE.  It can be downloaded in one of two formats depending on how you wish to have it printed:

• OPTION 1: Consecutive Page Printing. To print the booklet in a full, traditional 8.5 x 11 sheet format. Total sheets: 5 sheets, double-sided. Sheets are printed in consecutive order for a traditional staple to be placed in the upper left corner.
• OPTION 2: Stitch Booklet Printing. To print the booklet on full 8.5 x 11 sheets, and then fold it in half for a 5.5 x 8.5 size booklet.  Total sheets: 5 sheets, double-sided. This format allows for the pages to be stapled in the middle of the page group as a booklet if desired.
