A showcase of PD wellness and advocacy activities in Grand Rapids.

The Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan presents a free symposium to commemorate Parkinson’s Awareness Month.  Join us on April 19 (Saturday, 10:00 am) to hear about the wonderful programs that PAWM supports and how these programs may impact you.

We will be presenting the Three A’s of Parkinson’s Disease – Advocacy, Artistic Expression, and Assistive Technologies.  You will learn how to ADVOCATE for your healthcare and for research funding.  You will also learn how to use your ARTISTIC EXPRESSION as a therapeutic outlet.  Finally, you will learn about how ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY can enhance practical and recreational activities.
