Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan presents a free symposium to commemorate Parkinson’s Awareness Month.

Saturday, April 22, at 10:00 am, PAWM is holding an interactive speaker event at the Prince Conference Center (Willow Room) on the beautiful Calvin College campus.  Come out and join us for this FREE, fun, and interactive symposium about Heather Kennedy and her journey living with PD.  Heather writes under the alias “Kathleen Kiddo” (www.kathleenkiddo.com).

She is known for her unique presentations about living with Parkinson’s. A diagnosis at age 40 turned her life upside down. She shares her experience for audiences to glimpse into the dark, light, awkward, funny, inspiring, flips, dips, and turns of her journey.

Additional presentations by Dr. Kathy Steece-Collier, Michigan State University Translational Neuroscience, and Dr. Danette Taylor, Trinity Health Neuroscience.
